"Heaven is so beautiful, Daryl. Look at those rainbows, and listen to that lovely music, so gentle and soothing," said Jennifer.
"You're right, Jen. Heaven is beautiful, and you look as lovely as ever."
"And now we have all of this for an eternity?"
"I don't think so. Only for a while, until our rebirth."
"Rebirth?"
"Yes, I don't believe we can stay this way forever. Someday we'll be reborn again."
"Oh, Daryl, I don't know if I like that idea. I enjoy this so much. How do I ask God if we can stay here forever?"
"Well …"
Meanwhile, Jennifer and Daryl's adult children, Susan and John, stood beside their parents' cryogenic capsules, observing their 'afterlife' through a portal.
"John, will they ever experience a rebirth?"
"Yes, Sue, hopefully soon. Since human cloning's perfected, the doctor said it's just a matter of legalization."
"And their consciousness will be transferred?"
"Yes, but …"
"But what, John?"
"It seems that Mom prefers 'heaven' instead."
