Jason ordered items on his holo-tablet.
“Thank you for ordering, Jason! You should receive your shipment within a few minutes. Please pick them up in your backyard.”
“Are those my new clothes, Papa?” asked his daughter, Julie.
“Yes! Let’s go outside and watch.”
Julie gazed upward at thousands of drones, re-entry rockets, and parachutes.
“Papa?”
“Yes, Jules?”
“Is it true, there was a time when all you could see were clouds?”
“Oh yes, I remember those days, but it took forever to get deliveries from land-based warehouses—thankfully, they’re all in orbit now, so we don’t have to wait long!”
